Digital Health Fellowship

The SQ Digital Health Fellowship Program provides an exciting experience for those interested in the rapidly emerging mobile health sector and how it will revolutionize public health. SQ is at the leading edge of this movement and is focusing on student health issues, including mental, physical, and sexual health. For example, did you know that 50% of new sexually-transmitted infections every year are in people under 25? No big deal? What if I told you that 1 in 4 people will have an STI by the age of 25?

SQ is a Cambridge-based startup developing mobile technology that will revolutionize how people manage their health. This year SQ will launch our new app and we’re looking for energetic, socially-conscious, self-starters who have a passion for public health.

We are looking for applicants who can commit one semester and are looking to make a significant contribution by educating their peers about health and how SQ is a powerful mitigation tool. With guidance and support from the SQ Team and other Digital Health Fellows, you’ll span the gamut of outreach--from one-on-one conversations to crowd-level engagement at SQ-sponsored events (T-shirt cannon anyone?) to helping manage social-media.

Fellows who are interested in learning more about what it’s like to start a company will have a front-row seat to the process and are encouraged to provide key insights about customer perspectives and how to incorporate them into the corporate strategy of a mission-driven company.
